Business Units: Overview
J.B. Hunt is a data-driven transportation and logistics company comprised of various business units—including Intermodal, Dedicated Contract Services (DCS) and our Final Mile Services® program—which service a variety of customers across North America. We engineer technology-focused solutions for supply chains of all sizes. Because we offer so many different—yet complementary—service offerings, J.B. Hunt is a leader in the industry.
Minimum Area of Isolation
J.B. Hunt's business unit logos must have an area of isolation that is approximately equal to the height of the capital H in “HUNT.” This area emphasizes the use of white space to keep the logo from being crowded or lost in any setup or layout.
Minimum Size Requirements
J.B. Hunt's business unit logos should not be reduced to smaller than 1” in length unless given explicit approval from the Corporate Marketing Department.
Color Use
In most cases, our logos can be produced in full color, whether in four-color process, full-color digital or using their specific Pantone colors. In instances where these colors are not available, using single-color black or white may be acceptable, though approval is required. Request approval and appropriate files here.

Business Units:
INTERMODAL
J.B. Hunt Intermodal (JBI) transports commodities on the railroads and is generally a more cost-friendly mode than ground transportation due to a longer transit time. We transport the container from the customer’s location to a major railway and back to the preferred location—whether it be a business, warehouse, rail yard, etc. Customers also have the option for temperature-controlled, international or expedited services within Intermodal. JBI is a popular choice for companies that want the potential to save money, decrease their carbon footprint and can afford a slightly longer transit time.

DEDICATED
J.B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services (DCS) is a dedicated fleet provider for companies that operate a private fleet or are already working with a similar provider. We help manage and strategize all aspects of their fleet (routing, hiring, maintaining, etc.). Then, the customer can focus on their core business (i.e,. a retail company can focus on selling clothes). Dedicated fleet providers are also referred to as outsourced providers. Within DCS, we have specialized groups that concentrate on industries—such as agriculture, construction/building materials, retail and foodservice. DCS is a good choice for companies that have a private fleet along with a business to run.

FINAL MILE SERVICES® PROGRAM
J.B. Hunt's Final Mile Services program is our home delivery service. The product type is typically a large, bulky household item that doesn’t fit within the parcel network, typically because it exceeds the weight limit or requires installation or assembly. We refer to our business as Final Mile Services; however, "last mile" is a widely accepted industry term that is often used as a descriptor in copy. J.B. Hunt's Final Mile Services solutions are ideal for retailers and manufacturers that balance constant in-home deliveries, detailed route planning and installation or assembly.

INTEGRATED CAPACITY SOLUTIONS
J.B. Hunt Integrated Capacity Solutions (ICS) facilitates freight movement for shippers via service representatives or through digital freight matching in J.B. Hunt 360°. As a third-party logistics provider, we use contracted carriers or company assets to transport dry van, refrigerated, less-than-truckload and flatbed loads for customers at published or spot rates. While ICS is a business segment, we typically reference the individual service. ICS is valuable to companies that use the spot market or would benefit from leveraging market capacity through third-party carriers.

TRUCKLOAD
J.B. Hunt Truckload (JBT) is over-the-road trucking for short- or long-term projects. Truckload shipments are used when customers have enough freight to fill a 53' trailer and the freight doesn’t fit within the parcel network. The loads are moved by company drivers and equipment, but third-party carriers or independent contractors are also utilized at times. Truckload is beneficial for companies that need over-the-road capacity throughout North America.
