We are proud to have a variety of employee resource groups (ERGs) at J.B. Hunt that help us foster a diverse and inclusive workplace and provide employee engagement opportunities within our company. We believe it’s important for us to enrich the lives of our people by creating an inclusive company culture where all people feel welcomed, valued, respected, safe and heard.
Employee Resource Groups Play an Important Role in Inclusion
Our ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that help drive our inclusion strategy forward and create a culture that aligns with our business objectives. Our ERGs are open to all employees, even if an employee does not identify as part of the community represented. Allies and supporters are welcome to join and can find that being part of an ERG provides valuable educational, networking and growth opportunities.
Enhancing Company Culture Through New ERGs
We were excited to launch CAAPITAL, Cultivating Asian American Pacific Islanders Together As Leaders, in August of 2022 and bring our total number of ERGs to six. CAAPITAL is committed to support and enable our Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander employees to have a safe place to share ideas, mentor one another and find opportunities for professional growth. Through collaboration with other leaders, members of CAAPITAL provide educational, cultural and social awareness for all within our company.
