If Dwell Status column shows "DWELL POTENTIAL":
Please refer to the Delivery Appointment Action column to determine what is needed to avoid incurring dwell. If Dwell Status column is empty, dwell charges are not anticipated for this shipment.
If Delivery Appointment Action shows “NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED,” “EARLIER APPOINTMENT NEEDED,” or “LATER APPOINTMENT NEEDED:"
Please contact your J.B. Hunt representative to change your shipment's appointment time at your earliest convenience.

There may be a date and time shown in the JBH Suggested Appointment Date/Time column. This is generated using our historical day of week rail delays. It should be utilized when initially scheduling or updating delivery appointments that are no longer supported by the current rail ETA to minimize the potential for dwell while achieving on-time service levels.
Schedule when your shipment's Rail Status = Ingated or In-Transit
