Introducing the New and Improved J.B. Hunt Perks Program
When we introduced the J.B. Hunt 360™ Perks program in August 2018, the goal was to provide carriers with money- and time-saving solutions.
More than three years later, our goal continues to be the same. We’ve listened to freight carriers talk about what they like most about the Perks program, but also about ways we could do more. And that’s why we’re so excited to reintroduce the Perks program – it’s more of the incentives and benefits that carriers love.
Within this driver’s rewards program are two of our newest offerings for Carrier 360 Members: Location-specific fuel discounts at Pilot Flying J and roadside services through a discounted Roadside Masters membership.
Additionally, our Gold and Silver levels are also being replaced with a new Elite level. Elite carriers get access to all the benefits of the Member level, with additional perks like the ability to place offers on desirable loads two hours before Members gain access to these loads and a dedicated Carrier Procurement Team.
Let’s look at the new offerings individually:
1. Location-specific fuel discounts with Pilot Flying J
Carriers who participate in the J.B. Hunt 360 Fuel Program can now find deeper fuel discounts at up to 750 Pilot Flying J locations nationwide—only on Carrier 360! Check Carrier 360 every day and use the load map to find discounted diesel fuel at locations along your route. You can also earn extra myRewards points at these Pilot Flying J locations!
2. Discounted Roadside Masters Membership
Members also now have access to a discounted membership to Roadside Masters, offering 24/7 road assistance for trucks throughout the U.S. and Canada. The discount provides the service, which is regularly $499, at a rate of $360 for Carrier 360 users. The membership includes services such as towing, flat tire assistance, tire replacement or repair, jump-starts, replacement part deliveries and much more. It’s the roadside service for commercial vehicles that you’ve been looking for.
3. New Perks levels
Starting December 30, our Gold and Silver levels are being replaced with a new Elite level. Unlike the Gold and Silver levels, the Elite status is reached by achieving certain performance metrics. By navigating to the scorecard inside the Carrier 360 app, you can see how your performance is being measured. To reach Elite status, you must achieve at least 35% app usage and automation, a 95% or greater load completion rate, a 95% or greater rate of on-time service, and 75% tracking usage in addition to hitting monthly volume thresholds.
By achieving these milestones and reaching Elite status, you get an edge on securing your preferred loads. As an Elite carrier, you get two hours of exclusive access to all loads posted at least 24 hours prior to pickup. You can place an offer before Members gain access to these loads or claim one immediately with the “Book Now” feature.
4. A Personal Carrier Procurement Team
Elite carriers are also assigned their own personal Carrier Procurement Team. You’ll have a direct line to a team that knows you and your business and can help you maintain your Elite status and the perks that come with it. They’re your biggest fans and their goal is to keep the perks coming your way!
5. And, we’re keeping our existing perks, too
In addition to the perks above, participants can still enjoy a number of other exclusive discounts, like maintenance discounts with Pilot Truck Care, up to 35% off Goodyear tires at select locations, 15% off KeepTruckin hardware and software subscriptions, Sirius XM friends and family discount, and free Quick Pay*.
