Rail Gate Restrictions Disrupt Intermodal Service
The rail network continues to work through ongoing ramp congestion, labor challenges and equipment imbalances. With progress in Ayer, MA, NS has lifted gate restrictions from Chicago, IL, to Ayer, MA. However, effective immediately, due to ramp congestion BNSF has implemented gate restrictions on standard traffic at the BNSF Stockton, CA, ramp to all destination points. Additionally, due to ramp congestion, KCS will implement an embargo effective March 12 at 12:01 a.m. on traffic from NS Croxton, NJ, and NS Rutherford, PA, to KCS Wylie, TX. Below is a summary of current rail gate restrictions impacting J.B. Hunt and its customers.

- All NS origin points to Jacksonville, FL
- NS Croxton, NJ, to KCS Wylie, TX
