Ramp Congestion Disrupts Intermodal Service

The NS railroad has made significant progress processing the backlog of traffic disrupting intermodal service to Ayer, MA. As a result, effective immediately, the NS has eased gate restrictions to Ayer, allowing normal ingate volumes. Customer service is extremely important to J.B. Hunt, and we apologize for the inconvenience this service interruption has caused.
