Simply stated, EDI is the electronic exchange of business information between partners.
EDI is comprised of two components: translation and communication.
JB Hunt currently supports ANSI X12 (American National Standards Institution Standards).
The current version we exchange with our carriers is X12 V4010. JB Hunt’s preferred method
of communication is AS2. We also support FTP and Value Added Network.
