Lease-Purchase Driver Orientation

J.B. Hunt holds weekly orientation classes for new lease-purchase drivers. You'll receive $75 per day for completing class, payable on your first settlement. To help you make it to your first settlement, we can issue an advance of up to $100 following orientation. J.B. Hunt also provides lodging and lunch each day of class. At orientation, you can expect to complete all leasing paperwork, pick out your tractor from our available lease-purchase trucks, plus receive briefings of J.B. Hunt's company policies, communication protocol and safety standards.

Orientation is held weekly in the Atlanta, Dallas and Louisville Service Centers.

As a reminder, you will be dispatched following orientation, so we ask you to bring the following items:

• Valid class A CDL issued by your state of residence

• Current DOT medical card (J.B. Hunt will provide a new physical)

• Two identification cards as required by the I9 form

• Voided check or bank-issued document with account/routing numbers (for direct deposit)

• Social security numbers and birth dates for dependents to be covered by voluntary health coverage

• Proper footwear and attire for your road-driving test
