If you enjoy life on the road but also value your home time, a regional driving job is the right fit for you. With weekly or bi-weekly home time, regional driving offers a nice balance of driving duties and time at home. Opportunities are available in multiple locations across the country within the DCS, Intermodal and Truck operating groups, and are a great way to advance your driving career at J.B. Hunt.

J.B. Hunt's Dedicated Contract Services offers a range of regional driving opportunities across multiple equipment types including bulk, tanker, flatbed, boom truck, reefer and traditional dry van. Team drivers may also find opportunities within DCS. Home time varies according to the DCS customer serviced, but regional drivers are usually home weekly or biweekly.

Regional drivers within J.B. Hunt's Intermodal group are generally home each week. Like local drivers, regional drivers enjoy a consistent customer base and more than 75% drop and hook deliveries. Intermodal drivers perform more traditional driving duties, delivering containers at rail yards and to customer locations.

Traditional van driving jobs are available with J.B. Hunt's Controlled Regional Fleet. You'll be home for 48 hours every two weeks, and you'll maximize your weekly miles thanks to our strong freight volumes and tightly controlled operating areas. Plus, Controlled Regional Fleet drivers are eligible for a monthly performance bonus of up to 2 cents per mile. So, whether your goal is quality weekend home time or strong earnings, J.B. Hunt's Controlled Regional Fleet offers it all.
