Our award-winning information systems are integrated across all operating units and utilized with most computing platforms, from PCs to mainframes.

• Total Shipment Visibility

  Shipment visibility is near real-time based on on-board communications which are updated at least hourly. J.B. Hunt information systems collect, track and monitor each shipment's progress. Secured customer access to this information is available from any internet connection at any time.

• Internet Shipment Tracking

  Internet shipment tracking is available. Each customer has access to shipment track and trace data through the J.B. Hunt Transport web site. This intuitive, easy-to-use tool allows secured access to your shipments all along the way, from origin to destination. Internet options providing customers with information on their shipments include Order Tracking, Quick Load Tracing, and Transport Proof of Delivery.

• Centralized Invoicing

  J.B. Hunt strives to minimize administrative overhead costs through process simplification, standardization and automation. Invoice data is taken directly from the operating system to create an automated invoice. Summarized invoices are available, as is the supporting detail information. Invoice accuracy is measured and audited regularly. Measurements and associated accountability for meeting invoice accuracy goals are in place for all functional groups associated with generating a "perfect" invoice: sales, pricing and yield management, pricing administration, customer service, operations services (accessorial), billing and collections.

• Customized Management Reports

  J.B. Hunt Transport's Dedicated Contract Services^® provides a variety of customized reporting solutions for customers. These reports are generally scoped during the kick-off process, and are delivered within the typical start-up timeframe of sixty to ninety days. J.B. Hunt is also capable of providing "raw" data for customer's own report development purposes.

• Shipment Information

  Reports are generated from the data captured inside PACE, J.B. Hunt's proprietary, award-winning, web-based payroll, billing and reporting system. The information captured in PACE is a combination of mainframe data and information the user manually adds to the orders to ensure accurate payroll and billing. Once the user is ready to create an invoice report or other customer reports they simply submit the request and PACE auto-generates the report in an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel format. The reports are stored historically and can be pulled up by week ending date based on the customer's billing cycle. At that point, reports can be provided in either hard copy or via e-mail.
