What training can I expect if I join the company?
While we recommend that applicants have some educational background or experience in the position for which they are applying, J.B. Hunt does provide specific on-the-job training for most positions. Our Fleet Manager and Dedicated Manager in Training positions are geared toward roles in Operations, offering systems and technology training, as well as safety, transportation terminology and objectives training, and basic driver-management skills.

Does J. B. Hunt have an internship program?
Yes. We have formalized internship programs in our Information Technology and Engineering departments. Limited internship opportunities are available for Operations positions throughout the country and at J.B. Hunt's corporate headquarters in northwest Arkansas. We also offer a small number of miscellaneous internship opportunities at our corporate headquarters.

Are there opportunities to relocate with J.B. Hunt?
Absolutely. Relocation opportunities abound in J.B. Hunt's Dedicated Contract Services and Intermodal business units, where we offer positions across the United States. In fact, career growth in Dedicated Contract Services is dependent on the flexibility to relocate as new business opportunities develop. Safety, maintenance and sales opportunities are available nationwide and positions in these fields may also offer relocation opportunities.
